Generally speaking, electric blankets should not be washed with water. If the blanket surface is seriously dirty, the following methods can be used:
First, the electric blanket can only be scrubbed with a hand brush. Before scrubbing with a hand brush, the blanket surface should be placed in clean water for a while, but the switch, plug, and thermostat of the electric blanket must not be soaked in water, and try to avoid splashing water.
Secondly, after soaking in water, place the electric blanket flat in a clean place. When washing one side of the fabric, dip it with soapy water, washing detergent or detergent, and brush along the direction of the electric hotline. If the dirt is serious, you can brush it several times. When washing one side of the cotton blanket, gently rub it with your hands and try to avoid the electric hotline when rubbing. After washing and rubbing, do not twist it with your hands, and do not throw it dry in the dehydration tube of the washing machine. Instead, lay the blanket surface flat and drive out the water with force, stretch the flexure to restore it to its original shape.
Finally, hang it flat in a cool and ventilated place and dry it. During the drying process, you should still pay attention to the shape of the electric blanket. If there is any deformation, you should still pay attention to correct it in time.
It should be noted that washing the electric blanket is because it is too dirty, and washing the electric blanket has an impact on its electrical performance. In order to avoid staining the electric blanket, thin mattresses or sheets should be placed on the electric blanket during normal use, and do not sleep directly on the electric blanket, so that the electric blanket will not be easily stained.
In warm weather, electric blankets are generally no longer used. Pay attention to the following things when collecting:
1. The fabrics of electric blankets are mostly made of ordinary textiles. In order to prevent moisture and mold, they must be dried before storage, and then stored in a cool and dry place. Do not place them near the heat source to prevent the insulation layer of the heating element from aging.
2. When collecting, you can roll up or fold the electric blanket and place it in a looser place. Do not pile heavy objects on it. Do not put them together with sharp equipment.
3. Some parts of the electric blanket are chemical products. Do not put items such as camphor balls in it when collecting them to avoid aging of plastic parts. To prevent moisture, you can put some desiccant in the electric blanket.
