There is a fire cat named Edna on the 49th squad of the San Francisco Fire Department. Edna has been living in the fire department with them and becoming a part of them since the EMT ambulance on the team picked it up five years ago. However, Edna's stable life in a fire cat was forced to end a few days ago because the administrative department said that it had received anonymous complaints that Edna's existence may affect the hygiene of medical equipment and ordered it to leave the 49th Team! Even if all the firefighters in the team launched a petition for it together and received support from all walks of life, it was still impossible to change the administrative department's wishes in the end. The day Edna left the 49 Fire Brigade, the team members took a picture of her unwilling figure and uploaded it to her IG account, breaking the hearts of the fans who supported her all the way.
The tortoiseshell cat Edna was picked up by the EMT ambulance staff of the 49th Division of the San Francisco Fire Department five years ago. Since then, she has lived on the team and has become a part of this big family.
The firefighters are under a lot of work pressure, and the only small treatment they can get is when interacting with Edna.
Edna has always been a very competent fire cat, well-behaved and obedient never cause trouble; however, the trouble comes to her own house.
Their competent authorities said they received anonymous complaints that there were cats on the fire brigade that could affect the hygiene of medical equipment, so they ordered Edna to leave the 49th fire brigade. A department spokesman also claimed that they were also considering the safety of the cats, saying that the fire department is not an ideal cat raising environment.
Although all the firefighters and ambulance officers on the team expressed dissatisfaction with this order, they could not disobey the superior's intentions. So they launched an activity to support Edna, hoping that everyone would send them a letter to the competent department each to see if they could change their decision.
Fire cats from other fire brigades have also expressed support, hoping to keep Edna.
They even submitted books to newspapers, hoping to use the power of public opinion to make the competent authorities compromise; but after all the efforts, they still could not shake their decision, and Edna was still sent away. Fortunately, a team member's family said that they could adopt and place Edna so that she would not have nowhere to go. On the day when he left the team, Edna looked at the place where she lived for five years without knowing why she was taken away. And this scene broke all the fans and firefighters who supported it.
Although Edna is currently adapting well in her new home, for the members of the 49th team, they will always lack one family, and all this is just because of an inexplicable anonymous complaint!
