Recently, the policemen of the Patrol Brigade No. 2 of the Jilin Branch of the Highway Public Security Bureau of the Jilin Provincial Public Security Department were inspecting vehicles on the Shenji Expressway when they were startled by the scene in a small car: the driver in the car was holding a pet cat in his arms. It was making uneasy noises due to the police inspection, and issued a "warning" to the police!

At noon that day, when the police were on duty at the Yongji Toll Station, they discovered that a driver was holding a pet cat while driving a motor vehicle, which was obstructing driving safety. The police immediately stopped the driver and signaled the driver to stop for inspection.
After questioning, the driver said that the cat was injured and was going to a pet hospital for treatment. Since the cat kept meowing in a pet cage, he drove with the cat in his arms without considering his own driving safety.
The police gave him safety education on his behavior of driving with pets: Driving with pets in his arms will affect the driver's attention and easily cause traffic accidents. After safety education from the police, the driver said he made immediate corrections. Under the supervision of the police, the driver put the pet cat back into the pet box and continued driving on the road after eliminating potential safety hazards.
Warm reminder from the highway police:
When driving with pets, you need to consider that the pets may actively "harass" the driver, such as jumping up and down, licking the driver, or suddenly roaring and disturbing the driver when stimulated by the external environment; on the other hand, the driver will be distracted by checking the pet or actively playing with the pet, which can easily distract the driver's attention and pose a huge road traffic safety hazard. Therefore, when driving, drivers must put their pets in a cage and secure them in the back seat or ventilated trunk of the car. If they need to drive a long distance, they must stop at the service area in time and leash the pet.
