Every time I see other people walking their dogs, I feel very envious and have the urge to raise one myself! ! So is raising a dog really that easy? In fact, this is not the case. In the process of raising a dog, you will encounter various situations, especially if the dog is sick, such as the reason why the dog vomits water, and the solutions to different situations are different.

1. Physiological vomiting
If the dog only vomits water when drinking water, and the frequency of vomiting is not high, then it may be physiological vomiting, mainly due to gastrointestinal spasm caused by drinking too much water or suddenly drinking cold water. In this case, the owner can observe the dog at home for a while to see if the dog will vomit again. If there is no frequent vomiting, there is no need to seek medical treatment. Otherwise, it must be sent to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.
2. Food stuck in the esophagus
If the water spit out by the dog is saliva, it is mostly an esophageal problem. For example, the dog has swallowed plastic, hair, fish bones, chicken bones and other foreign objects, and some of them may get stuck in the dog's esophagus and cause vomiting. If this is the case, it is recommended to take the dog to the pet hospital for examination as soon as possible to determine the size and location of the foreign body. Surgery may be required if necessary.

3. Pathological vomiting
If the water your dog vomits is green or yellow, it means it is bile. This situation is usually pathological vomiting. For example, if the dog is older and has been fully vaccinated and dewormed, gastroenteritis or internal diseases need to be considered, that is, whether the liver and kidney functions are damaged. If it is an unimmunized puppy, you need to pay attention to whether there are symptoms such as colds, parvovirus, canine distemper, and enteritis. As long as any abnormality is found, timely medical treatment is required.
