Train a dog with different personalities? Before training a dog, everyone must first understand the personality of their dog. The personality is different. During training, you need to fully use the characteristics of their personality to achieve practical results with half the result with twice the effort.
Although different types of dogs have the same living habits, their personalities are different. It can be said that there are no two dogs with completely the same personality. Therefore, training different dogs requires differences, symptomatic treatment, and teaching according to the individual!
1. A quiet dog has a personality that is mainly manifested as not being easy to be excited and loves quietness. Don’t think that it has a more Buddha-like personality. Its adaptability in different natural environments is still strong. Because it has always been indifferent, its coordination ability is weak and its reaction is slower. When we are training, we must first stimulate its initiative. Everyone rewards what it is very interested in. For example, if you like it, use snacks to tempt it. If you like it, use small toys as a reward for training.
2. A timid dog has a main character manifested as shyness, strong protection, sensitive personality, and a preference for avoiding dogs. When dealing with such personality, the owner must be careful. He does not have to be too rude during training. He must maintain a gentle posture and language. Do not use explosive postures or rude methods to train it.
A timid dog, creating a sense of trust is the first step. You can carry out more caressing and food rewards at the beginning of training. When it feels stressed, the owner should not force it to do all postures, guide it carefully and correctly, and clear its vigilance. When it releases the pressure and opens its heart to you, it will be easy to train.
3. An excited dog has a main character manifested in poor self-control, love to bark, easy to be excited, and difficult to become more and more quiet after being excited. To deal with this type of dog, you must first shape its self-control, be able to instruct it to sit quietly, wait for a period of time before carrying out food rewards, and slowly increase the time it waits, so as to shape its carefulness.
