French media footmercato reported that Monaco and Leverkusen have reached a complete agreement on the transfer of 20-year-old striker Ben Sergill.
The deal will bring more than 30 million euros (including bonuses) to Monaco, and Monaco will also retain the player's second transfer share clause.
The negotiations have been reportedly delayed in recent hours because an English club intervened in the deal at the last moment, which was Chelsea, who tried to intercept Leverkusen to sign the young player, but ultimately failed.
Ben Segil is 20 years old and plays as a striker. He scored 9 goals and sent 4 assists for Monaco last season, with a net worth of 28 million euros.
