Manchester United defender Maguire and the club's contract expires next summer, but according to the Englishman, the Red Devils rejected inquiries from other clubs this summer.

In an interview with The Times, Maguire said: "I'm pretty sure the club has made it clear this summer that I won't leave on any terms, even if other clubs are interested in me and ask about my contract. I believe in the coming months we'll sit down and talk about their plans, such as whether the club wants to renew or make a decision when the transfer window opens again in January."

"Obviously, I have my own plans in my mind and know what I want. I don't want to make these ideas public, but it's an incredible club, and if you're rushing to leave, you're too stupid."

"I believe I'll have a lot of games to play this season, and I'll play a lot of games from the beginning. I know that. Today, the head coach faces a lot of tough choices. I think the team is very competitive, and there are high-level players in every position. Indeed, De Rigt and I have been playing in the central defender position, but we can also be separated from the three-back system, and I have proved that. In this team, the competition in each position is very fierce, and I think it is healthy for the team. "

"We are in a good state now, and the club has a positive attitude. I think the management, Wilcox (the director of football) and the head coach are moving in the right direction. Since I joined six years ago, the organizational structure of the club has been very different. Compared to when I first joined, the organizational structure of this club has been much better."
