According to Manchester City official news, Ruben Dias won the 2025 PFA Community Champion Award for his outstanding community work contributions. The Portugal international has been a supporter of the club's City in the Community programme.
The PFA has partnered with the North West Football Awards to recognize players who have made outstanding contributions to community work during the 2024-25 season. Dias was nominated alongside Everton's Coleman, Liverpool's Alisson and Amad and went on to win the honour.
Dias said: "This is a real honor for me. I reached out to CITC last year and wanted to be more involved in their work because their impact in Greater Manchester is amazing. When you are with the team at CITC, you can't help but be inspired. "It's a privilege to be able to help them."
"As footballers, we have a responsibility to use our platform to help others and CITC provides us with the perfect opportunity to do so. I am very happy for the rest of the Manchester City players to do so tonight and thank everyone who voted for me."
